The NATA exam center guidelines for 2026 will be released by the authorities of the Council of Architecture (COA). Candidates must check the list of cities where the NATA exam will be held. While filling out the NATA 2024 application form, the candidates need to fill in their preferred choice of exam center. The allotment of the NATA exam center will take place based on candidates’ preferences and seat availability. Students appearing can check the latest NATA updates on the BRDS official website.

Allocation of NATA 2026 Exam Center

The COA conducts the NATA 2026 exam in all state capitals and major cities of India. The allocation of the exam center requires a minimum of at least 200 candidates selecting that specific NATA exam center. The allotment is done based on the preference of the candidate mentioned on the application, though the decision lies with the governing body.

The NATA Exam Center Guidelines for 2026

The candidates are required to follow the necessary instructions when appearing for the NATA exam.

  • The candidates must report at the exam center 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • They should be seated in the assigned seat, and no candidate will be allowed in the exam hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam. If candidates do not report on time, they are likely to miss the general instructions that are announced in the exam hall.

  • Candidates must carry the necessary documents; failure to do so shall not allow them to sit for the exam. Under such circumstances, when the candidate is not allowed to take the test, the NATA exam fee will not refunded.

  • The person in charge of the NATA exam at the center will verify the ID proofs before allocating the seat to the candidates. In case the person in charge asks for additional ID proof, the candidates must present it to them. If the person in charge is unconvinced, the candidate will not be allowed to sit for the test.

  • If the candidate is allowed in the NATA 2026 exam center, it does not mean that ID proof is valid or the candidate’s score will be reported. In circumstances where identification is questionable, it will be reviewed and approved by higher authorities.
