Bachelor of Interior Design

Interior design brings meaning to the built environment. It addresses the enactment of life in space. It recognizes those orders – both tangible and intangible, through which man occupies space and makes it special for acts of living and dwelling. Interior design incorporates a synchronized approach built on an understanding of various aspects of life.
CEPT University, through the Faculty of Design, offers a full-time five-year professional program in interior design, leading to the award of Bachelor of Interior Design (B.I.D.).

50% of the total seats to be filled by ACPC, GoG: These seats will be filled by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Government of Gujarat. These seats will be filled with candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from schools located in the state of Gujarat, including Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli, and have appeared in the CEPT Aptitude Test. These seats will be filled as per ACPC guidelines.

50% of the total seats to be filled by CEPT University (All India Category): These seats will be filled by candidates who have passed the qualification examination from schools located in India (including Gujarat State, Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli). ) And have appeared in the CEPT Aptitude Test. The merit list for these seats will be prepared by CEPT University.

Eligibility for seats to be filled by CEPT University (All India Category)

Candidate should have passed HSC (10 + 2) examination from Gujarat State Board or any other state board with science stream or its equivalent CBSE / CISCE / NIOS / ISB / IB compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Physics should be accompanied by physics and mathematics. Computer as an optional subject (at all higher / advance levels), achieving a minimum total score of 50%.

Pay attention:

In all cases, the total will be calculated on the basis of all subjects including all languages, elective courses, practical exams etc. Failure in any subject disqualifies the candidature. In addition to the above stated, applicants having equivalent qualification will be required to submit a verified copy of the equivalence certificate from the appropriate authority along with the application.

Candidates awaiting HSC result will have to produce a certificate from the Principal of the High School that he has appeared in the Science Stream’s class XII examination. Candidates who have applied for verification / rechecking of marks can also apply and submit the rechecking certificate. All candidates must submit a final marksheet on or before the stipulated date and time and fail to meet the minimum requirements in which admission / admission will not be granted.
